El Calafate, Argentina, is a beautiful Patagonian destination known for its stunning glaciers and unique wildlife. When we visit this exciting destination, we can expect to be immersed in a world of natural beauty, with plenty of activities to entertain us.

The weather in El Calafate can be pretty unpredictable, with temperatures ranging from -5°C to 15°C. It’s essential to wrap up warm, even in the summer months. The wildlife in El Calafate is diverse, with species such as guanacos, foxes, and flamingos being commonly seen.

The main attraction in El Calafate is the Los Glaciares National Park, home to the world-famous Perito Moreno Glacier. We can take a boat tour to see the glacier up close or enjoy a guided trek on the ice. The park also features many hiking trails and stunning views of the surrounding landscape. During our visit to El Calafate, we are looking forward to experiencing Patagonia’s natural beauty and unique culture.

We also have the food to look forward too. The Patagonian cuisine is a blend of European and native culinary traditions. The region’s vast grasslands provide an abundance of fresh ingredients, including succulent lamb and fresh trout. Other popular dishes include empanadas (Yep, served all across South America), which are savory pastries filled with meat or cheese. We can also try Curanto  a traditional feast featuring meat, seafood, and vegetables cooked in a pit oven.
