Mendoza
Our first experience of Argentina will be in Mendoza, where we will spend Christmas. We plan to take an 8-hour bus ride from Santiago, Chile, through the Andes, expecting to see breathtaking views.

Mendoza, a city in the west of Argentina, is known for its delicious wine, rich culture and the Andes Mountains. This city has a history dating back to the 16th century, and the remnants can be seen in its stunning architecture and vibrant cultural scene.
When it comes to food and drink, Mendoza has a lot to offer. We cannot wait to try their famous empanadas. These delicious pastries are filled with various tasty options, including beef, cheese, and vegetables. Another must-try dish is the traditional Argentine barbecue, or asado, which includes mouth-watering grilled meats and sausages.
Mendoza is also home to some of the world’s most beautiful vineyards, where we can enjoy some of the finest wines. It sounds like my kinda place!
